Enoura Beach

Just a short walk from Enoura Port is Enoura Beach. From here you can see the Habushi-Iwa Lighthouse out in the bay.  Enoura Beach Habushi-Iwa (Japan Heritage Listed) The water here is almost always calm. It's also fairly shallow so it's easy to keep tabs on your little ones, making it perfect for a day at the beach with the family. If you visit during the weekend you can always get some pizza from Minatono Pizza or some Pasta from  Ethical Garden . Why not visit the Japanese Heritage Listed, Habushi-Iwa Lighthouse Oil shelter while you are here. It's just a short walk from the beach. Only a 50 metre walk from the Habushi-Iwa Oil Shelter is the wonderful Hiroshima Shrine. A wonderful calming area that always impresses. Hiroshima Island Shrine After visiting the shrine, you can visit Frank Toovey Lake's grave. Frank Toovey Lake was a British sailor who died at the age of 19, in 1868. He was buried in Enoura and to this day, the islanders have maintained his gravesite. Y...
