  Located in Tateishi you can find the Jinkoji Temple. Jinkoji Temple is a short walk away from the Onoetei Guest House, where you have the opportunity to stay at a Japanese Heritage listed building and experience how island life felt over 50 years ago. In recent years the temple has been damaged by the ravages of time as well as the many wild boars that inhabit the island. Hence the temporary fencing that you will see here. Just a short walk from Enoura Port is Enoura Beach. From here you can see the Habushi-Iwa Lighthouse out in the bay.  Enoura Beach Habushi-Iwa (Japan Heritage Listed) The water here is almost always calm. It's also fairly shallow so it's easy to keep tabs on your little ones, making it perfect for a day at the beach with the family. If you visit during the weekend you can always get some pizza from Minatono Pizza or some Pasta from  Ethical Garden . Why not visit the Japanese Heritage Listed, Habushi-Iwa Lighthouse Oil shelter while you are here. It's just a short walk from the beach. Only a 50 metre walk from the Habushi-Iwa Oil Shelter is the wonderful Hiroshima Shrine. A wonderful calming area that always impresses. Enoura & Kamanokoshi - Sanuki Hiroshima Island A couple of days ago I decided to put my little drone up and see if I could capture a nice panorama of what I consider to be an island paradise. I wasn't sure if my drone would be able to get far enough out, or high enough, to capture the image I wanted. Well, the DJI Mini 4 Pro surprised me again with it's ability to produce not only high quality footage but high quality images as well. What an amazing view!  Armed with this newly found knowledge about the mighty little drones abilities, I decided to go out again.  This time I thought I'd be focusing on the small town called Aoki, here on Sanuki Hiroshima Island. Aoki - Sanuki Hiroshima Island You have to love the rugged mountains and stone cliff faces. You guessed it, Aoki is where the famous Aoki Stone that was used in the construction of Osaka Castle comes from. Most of the quarries that were on the island have now closed down.   Bisan Ferry - Enoura Port Getting to Hiroshima Island is very easy as the island is serviced by Bisan Ferry. There is much to do here on Hiroshima Island. Please stop by the port office as you leave the ferry as you can find booklets containing information on the multiple sights here on the island.  There is a small shop  located inside the port office building  where you can hire bicycles and find items for sale made by the locals of the islands.   On weekends you'll find the pizza shop at the port is open with delicious pizza's, ice cream, tea and coffee for sale. Ethical Garden is a wonderful cafe style restaurant that serves coffee, frappe's, pasta and curry and and is open Friday to Sunday (11am to 4pm). You can find Ethical Garden here .
